I believe I have a correction of data for you. I am a descendant of William and Winiford Allee Birdsong.

Your site and others note her death as being Sep 13, 1878. My research tells me that it should be May 25 1886. My primary source of info is the cemetery book for Moniteau County Missouri, "Recordings of Walker Township Cemeteries" pg 118, which lists the graves of William and his wife, Winnaford. Her death date is listed on the stone.

William's birth is given as Jan 14 1798 and death, sep 11 1863. Their graves are in the Old Salem Church Cemetery. If I can be of service in look ups from my cemetery books, contact me at wjbranz@wmis.net

I do not live in Missouri but have visited the Moniteau Co. area and own three of the four cemetery books that were available. For the record I am the son of Kathryn Birdsong and great grandson of Kemp and Ciziah Jane Howard Birdsong.

3. Charity Delilah BYBEE was born 1765 in Abemarle VA, and died 1823 in California Co MO. She was the daughter of 6. John BYBEE , Jr and 7. Elizabeth MCCANN.

Children of Charity Delilah BYBEE and David ALLEE are:1. i. Winnafred ALLEE. She married William BIRDSONG. He died 13 SEP 1863 in Moniteau MO.
ii. William ALLEE was born 1797 in KY, and died 1874. He married Elizabeth Ann HILL, daughter of Sandy HILL and SARAH. She was born 1833 in MO, and died 1845 in MO.

6. John BYBEE , Jr was born 1739 in Fluvania Co VA, and died 14 APR 1821 in Barron Co KY.

7. Elizabeth MCCANN was born 1737.
