 According to dates in The Croom Family (Outlaw) book- Lott A. Croom died at 24 years of age while his wife Christianna was pregnant with their second child, Lottie Alexander (Mitt) Croom.  He died of typhoid pneumonia while a soldier of the Confederate Army.
